Personal Biography
Dr. Jonathan Benison is a dedicated general dentist who brings compassion, clinical excellence, and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of care. A graduate of CUNY Queens College and the Touro College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Benison completed a two-year general practice residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, serving as Chief Resident in his second year.
With a strong belief in treating each patient with empathy and understanding, Dr. Benison is committed to creating a caring and compassionate environment. He will always try to put himself in his patients’ shoes and make sure that they feel comfortable each step of the way. This philosophy was shaped early in his training, during a powerful encounter with a patient who had long hidden her smile due to missing and non-restorable teeth. Helping restore her confidence reaffirmed his passion for dentistry and his mission: helping people smile again.
Dr. Benison is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and continues to stay involved in the professional community. He values comprehensive, empathetic care and is focused on long-term relationships with his patients.
Originally from Old Bethpage, NY, Dr. Benison enjoys snowboarding, spending time with his family, watching TV, and taking day trips around Long Island. He lives with his wife, their young daughter, and another child on the way—family time and summer BBQs are a cherished part of his life outside the dental office.
