Personal Biography

Practicing dentistry since 2023, Dr. Ankur Kadakia received his D.D.S from Touro College of Dental Medicine and completed his residency at Monmouth Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), New Jersey Dental Association(NJD), Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society and Middlesex County Dental Society.

Dr. Kadakia loves the ability to help people feel more confident and comfortable with their smiles. Restoring dental health, relieving pain, and improving someone’s quality of life can be incredibly rewarding. It’s a blend of science, precision, and patient care that makes it such a unique and fulfilling profession. Plus, staying up-to-date with advancements in technology and techniques  – such as invisalign and lasers – keeps things exciting and challenging!

A visit to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary because modern dentistry emphasizes patient comfort, advanced technology, and preventive care. Dr. Kadakia will try to listen to the patient’s concerns and work with them to make the experience as stress-free as possible.

One inspiring dental patient story that stands out is during his residency, Dr. Kadakia met a man who avoided the dentist for over 20 years due to fear and embarrassment. He had severe dental issues—broken, decayed teeth and chronic pain that affected his ability to eat and speak confidently. His self-esteem was at an all-time low, and he felt ashamed to even smile. After years of suffering, he finally worked up the courage to visit a dentist. Dr. Kadakia tried to be compassionate and non-judgmental, carefully explaining each step of the process. Over several months, he underwent a series of treatments—extractions, root canals, crowns, and dental implants. With each visit, his confidence grew as his dental health improved. By the end of his treatment, he had a completely transformed smile. But beyond the physical changes, what really stood out was how his outlook on life shifted. He began smiling more, reconnected with friends, and even landed a new job in a customer-facing role—something he would have never considered before. The transformation was not just dental but emotional and social. This story is a reminder that, as a dentist, you’re not just fixing teeth; you’re helping restore someone’s self-confidence and quality of life.
