Personal Biography

Dr. Tu is passionate about helping patients restore their oral health and confidence through personalized, comprehensive periodontal care. As his patient, you can expect an unwavering commitment to achieving your unique goals and expectations. His approach focuses on collaboration—working together to reestablish oral health, function, and overall well-being.

With over six years of experience, Dr. Tu has advanced training in soft tissue procedures, including completion of a Continuing Education course in Periodontal Plastic Surgery with Dr. Vanessa Frazao, a recognized leader in the field. His work has been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and Biomaterials, reflecting his dedication to research and clinical excellence.

Originally from Shanghai and raised in San Francisco, Dr. Tu enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. He has an identical twin brother who is also a practicing periodontist in Minnesota. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tu enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.
