Personal Biography
My dental philosophy is providing compassionate care with an emphasis on patient education to provide a comfortable space for patients to start understanding their own dental health. I enjoy seeing and being a part of patients’ journeys as they ultimately gain agency and confidence in achieving and maintaining their smiles.
After I completed my undergraduate education at Cornell University, I graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where I was involved with the American Student Dental Association and their dental advocacy efforts. I completed residency at Northwell Health/LIJ and continued to work on Long Island before making my transition to NYC. I am Invisalign certified and recently became a qualified dentist treating CPAP-intolerant patients with sleep apnea using oral appliances.
I enjoy participating in outreach efforts and have been providing volunteer dental care throughout the Southeastern US area with Remote Area Medical for 3 years: I’m hoping to continue this tradition after a break during COVID.
Outside of the office, I enjoy hanging out with friends, trying out new places to eat, experimenting with the best way to make a homemade chai latte, and internally debating whether I want to deal with the headache of picking up the cello again and basically relearning how to play after 7 years.

What others are saying about The Smilist Dental
“What a great experience! Everyone who works here is kind and caring. They take the time to explain what’s going on. They’re friendly. They make you feel taken care of. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I normally hate going to the dentist.”
