Personal Biography
Practicing dentistry since 2006, Dr. Sobol received her D.D.S. from the NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Sobol enjoys making her patients happy! She is not just creating new teeth and new smiles and reducing pain or infection, but is changing people’s lives. Dr. Sobol finds it very rewarding that she is helping patients to increase their self-esteem, making them more confident, beautiful and healthier.
Dr. Sobol’s dental philosophy is that you have to listen and hear your patients. You have to remember that every patient is different, every dental appointment is a huge stress for patients – whether it be psychological, mental or physical. As a provider, Dr. Sobol understands this and is therefore gentle and calm, and always looking to provide the best care for her patients.
An example of Dr. Sobol’s patient care philosophy was when she received a phone call from a patient around 11 PM on a Sunday night – when she was already asleep. One of her patients broke his front tooth and was in pain. Him and his wife and 4 kids were planning to go on the cruise for 10 days, and had been planning this vacation for a few years. The patient was trying to contact his primary dentist, but had no luck. Dr. Sobol told him that she would love to see him as her first patient the next morning, but his flight to Florida was in four hours. She was able to accommodate the patient at that hour and fix his tooth before he left for his trip, which made him so happy and grateful. He said Dr. Sobol saved his trip, his family and his marriage!
Dr. Sobol was born in Russia, and came to the United States 25 years ago as a refugee. She started to work as a dental assistant and fell in love with dentistry! In her spare time, she loves to read, cook, dance, travel, take care of her two dogs and cats, as well as spend time with my family and friends.

What others are saying about The Smilist Dental
“What a great experience! Everyone who works here is kind and caring. They take the time to explain what’s going on. They’re friendly. They make you feel taken care of. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I normally hate going to the dentist.”
