Dr. Maiko Tomizawa graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. She completed her general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in 2004.
Dr. Tomizawa practices in all aspects of general dentistry including Periodontics, Cosmetics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics and Pediatrics. She is also Invisalign certified.
Tomizawa practices dentistry in a painless and friendly environment, where patient care and comfort are of utmost importance to her.
Dr. Tomizawa sat on the board of Admissions at Columbia Dental School for many years and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Japan Medical Society. Dr. Tomizawa is also fluent in Japanese. She enjoys spending time with her husband & two sons, hiking, traveling and reading a good book.
