Personal Biography

Dr. Kathy Boadway received her D.D.S from SUNY Stony Brook and did her residency at The Danbury Hospital, which is affiliated with Yale University..She belongs to a Long Island Dental Study Club which meets weekly to assist in continuing education and growth of their membership.

Dr. Boadway has been practicing dentistry since graduating dental school in 2002. Prior to that, she worked in an Oral Surgery office assisting with patients and receptionist responsibilities. When her children were in elementary school, she did the dental education for the kindergarten classes. Currently, she is an Assistant Scout Master for her daughters Scout troop and recently became a Dental Merit Badge Counselor for the BSA

Dr. Boadway loves all  aspects of her job – from the artistry, the socialization, to winning over the phobic patient that becomes the best patient ever!  Her goal is to do the very best dentistry she can for each patient as an individual. Dr. Boadway likes  to think that she is saving the world, one tooth at a time! Afterall, who doesn’t want a little dental heroics when needed? 😀

Dr. Boadway is originally from upstate New York from a small farming community, so she naturally loves being outdoors, and regularly has an outdoor adventure planned for her family.. Her 13 and 14 year old children are both involved in Scouts, and the entire family enjoys hiking,camping and a good bonfire! Dr. Boadway enjoys spending time with friends, family and volunteering. Her family are big game players. Any given night you can catch them sitting around the table playing cards, around a bonfire playing heads up or on the court playing basketball. Dr. Boadway’s philosophy is “Life is short, it is meant to be enjoyed!”
