Dr. Esaú Cruz Gutierrez graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and General Practice Residency certificate from Stony Brook University. Dr. Cruz is a member of the American Dental Association, Hispanic Student Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Suffolk County Dental Society, and Nassau County Dental Society. His awards include The American Prosthodontic Society Student Award of Merit (2022) and the Pamela J. Combs Award for Community Service in Dentistry (2022). 

Dr. Cruz enjoys interacting with his patients and ensuring that they all receive the compassionate, comprehensive care that they deserve. Since he began his dental journey, many of his patients have been enthusiastic about following him wherever he goes. Dr. Cruz is dedicated to developing his dental skills and providing service to his community. Throughout his dental education, Dr. Cruz volunteered for outreach programs including Give Kids a Smile, The Stony Brook Mobile Dental Clinic, and Stony Brook HOME. 

A lifelong New Yorker, Dr. Cruz enjoys spending time with his family and cats. His numerous hobbies include cooking, fencing, longboarding, and traveling. He looks forward to helping you cultivate a healthier, happier smile!
