Personal Biography

Dr. Ichikawa completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY Binghamton and went on to complete his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency with the One Brooklyn Health Hospital System.

 

Dr. Ichikawa loves the art of dentistry and communication with his patients, so they feel as if they have ownership in their oral health and care. His patients often tell him that they feel like they are heard and included in their oral care, which is very rewarding for Dr. Ichikawa. He feels his duty is not only to take care of cleanings and fill cavities, but to also prevent oral health issues from happening in the first place. 

 

Dr. Ichikawa was born in Tokyo, Japan and came to the US in 2001. His passions, aside from dentistry, are doing home improvement projects, playing video games, and scale model building. He enjoys spending his free time playing with his son or riding his bike.

Personal Biography

Born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Rogers is the first dentist in her family. Her passion for science and art effortlessly into a desire to pursue a career in dentistry at a young age. 

 

Dr. Rogers received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated cum laude. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Rogers continued her dental education in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at NYU, earning a post-graduate certificate in periodontics. During her time at NYU, Dr. Rogers received top awards for her research and published several articles on periodontal disease. 

 

Dr. Rogers’ mission as a periodontal specialist is to make every patient feel secure and at ease under her care. Dr. Rogers believes it is essential to make sure her patients feel they are heard and are comfortable expressing their dental needs and desires. She values the importance of patient education, and strives to ensure all her patients are well-informed about their treatment. 

 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rogers trained as a classical pianist for 13 years. In her spare time, Dr. Rogers enjoys volunteering in her community, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her native New York.
