Personal Biography
Dr. Priya Ravi received her dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and went on to complete her residency at Lutheran Medical in Brooklyn, NY. She also recently completed the Dawson Academy core curriculum for mouth rehabilitation.
Practicing dentistry since 2002, Dr. Ravi’s favorite part of her job is interacting with and getting to know and build relationships with her patients. She enjoys resolving dental issues for her patients and artistically creating beautiful smiles. Her dental philosophy is to provide comprehensive, quality cutting edge dentistry. She believes the patient experience should be collaborative, comfortable and painless.
Dr. Ravi once had a patient who was afraid of going to the dentist and was able to gain her trust by explaining (in detail) every step of her treatment. This helped to reduce the patient’s anxiety and allowed for a pain-free and positive dental experience. Dr. Ravi saw that the patient’s confidence translated to other areas of her life once her treatment was completed. This, and other stories, inspires Dr. Ravi to continue helping people and make their lives better.
Dr. Ravi lives in Huntington with her husband, sons and two dogs. In her spare time, Dr. Ravi loves going for long walks with her dogs, hanging out in NYC, traveling and meeting new people, as well as trying new cuisines. She also is an avid reader, follows the world news and likes to workout.
