Personal Biography
Dr. Stephanie Fernandez-Guckes is passionate about providing patient-centered dental care that blends science, precision, and artistry. A graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and Penn Dental Medicine, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2024, following a BA in Biology with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
For Dr. Fernandez-Guckes, dentistry is more than a profession—it’s a calling that allows her to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives. She is deeply committed to building trust and creating a comfortable, respectful environment where patients feel truly heard. Whether she’s restoring a smile or helping someone overcome a lifelong fear of the dentist, her goal is to deliver care that improves both oral health and overall well-being.

One of Dr. Fernandez-Guckes’ most memorable experiences came during her residency, when she helped a patient with severe dental anxiety undergo transformative treatment. By the end of their time together, the patient had completed multiple procedures and found the confidence to smile again—an experience that left a lasting impact on them both.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Fernandez-Guckes comes from a diverse and supportive family. Her father, originally from Spain, is a radiation oncologist, and her mother, from Germany, worked as a lawyer in Spain. She is the middle of three siblings, with an older sister who is a veterinarian and a younger brother currently in law school.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fernandez-Guckes enjoys traveling, reading, and recently discovered a passion for cooking. She’s a movie buff, loves spending time with her family and fiancé, and can often be found exploring the outdoors with her energetic puppy, Ollie.
