Personal Biography
Dr. Sorina Lim is committed to providing personalized, high-quality dental care in a comfortable and supportive environment. She understands that many patients may feel anxious about dental visits and works to create a positive experience for each one. Dr. Lim emphasizes open communication, encouraging patients to ask questions and ensuring they fully understand the reasoning behind every recommendation. Her passion extends to working with patients of all ages, from children visiting the dentist for the first time to adults seeking to improve their oral health. Whether it’s a routine cleaning, cosmetic procedure, or more complex treatment, Dr. Lim aims to help patients feel confident and informed about their dental care. Her ultimate goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to maintain a healthy, beautiful smile for life.
Dentistry has been a childhood dream of Dr. Lim’s since she was in elementary school. After high school, she was formally trained as a dental assistant and received her oral radiology license from the College Community of Baltimore County. She worked as a dental assistant for four years while studying for dual degrees in Art History and Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Lim then received her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During her time in dental school, she was selected to be in the Gorgas Odontological Honors Society and Gamma Pi Delta Society for Prosthetics Honors.
In her spare time, Dr. Lim enjoys hiking local trails and exploring art museums. A passionate artist, she loves painting and sculpting in her free moments. Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Lim is dedicated to volunteering, with a strong emphasis on spreading awareness about oral health education. She frequently visits elementary schools to inspire young students to adopt healthy habits from an early age.
