Personal Biography
Dr. Rachel Schneider is a general dentist who is passionate about making every patient feel valued, safe, and confident in their smile. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. She continued her training with a residency at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center.
Dr. Schneider focuses on building trust with patients by creating a comfortable, stress-free environment. Her goal is to ensure every visit feels personal and positive—especially for those who have previously felt anxious about dental care. Many of her patients have shared that their fear of the dentist disappeared after being under her care, a reflection of her compassionate approach and clinical excellence.
Raised in Glen Rock, New Jersey, where her family still lives today, Dr. Schneider grew up with a strong sense of community and a passion for staying active. She played soccer, basketball, and her favorite sport—lacrosse—and always prioritized both physical fitness and mental well-being. Before dentistry, she spent summers working as a sleepaway camp counselor.
In her free time, you’ll likely find Dr. Schneider weightlifting at the gym, enjoying long walks outdoors, or soaking up the sun at the beach or by the pool. She also loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in NYC, spending evenings with her family watching TV series, and visiting her grandparents.
Dr. Schneider is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and remains committed to continuous learning and delivering patient-centered care.
