Personal Biography
Driven by a genuine desire to interact and help people, Dr. Balk was drawn to the field of dentistry. The opportunity to positively impact lives through oral health is what makes everyday fulfilling. She believes that building relationships and creating a comfortable atmosphere are key elements in providing exceptional dental care.
Dr. Balk attributes success in dentistry to a core skill – compassion. The ability to empathize and connect with patients on a personal level, fosters trust and ensures a positive dental experience. Understanding that fear is a common concern, she reassures patients that it is okay to have apprehensions. The goal is to identify those fears, providing guidance and support throughout the dental journey.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Balk enjoys activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, baking, crafting, hiking, and skiing. She finds joy in the simple pleasures of life and brings that positive energy to the dental chair!
