Personal Biography
Dr. Wajidul Hussain is a general dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at Hunter College. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s/Faxton, where he gained valuable clinical experience serving a wide range of patients.
Dr. Hussain is passionate about the hands-on nature of dentistry and is continually refining his craft through learning and practice. His patient-first philosophy centers around education and collaboration. He takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options thoroughly, empowering patients to make informed decisions. Dr. Hussain believes in guiding his patients toward the best course of treatment and delivering care with precision and excellence.
One of Dr. Hussain’s greatest joys is caring for children and individuals with special needs—those he feels have the most to gain from a gentle, positive dental experience. He finds it especially rewarding to help them build trust and confidence, so they are more likely to maintain lifelong oral health.
A proud Bronx native, Dr. Hussain is the third of four siblings. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active through running, swimming, and weightlifting. He also loves to explore New York City’s vibrant culture with friends, discovering new restaurants and traveling whenever he gets the chance.
