Personal Biography
Dr. Ali Sultan earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Oregon Health and Science University, following his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he majored in Philosophy and minored in Biology. His unique academic background allows him to bring both precision and advanced human insight to his dental practice.
Dr. Sultan is driven by the relationships he builds with patients and the endless opportunities for growth and learning in the dental field. His approach to care is centered on restoring oral health and empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain it. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
One of the most impactful moments in his career came when treating a patient who had recently immigrated to the U.S. and was suffering from advanced periodontal disease. After completing a thorough course of scaling and root planing, the patient returned with significantly healthier gums and expressed heartfelt gratitude—a reminder to Dr. Sultan of the real impact high-quality dental care can have on people’s lives.
Originally from the small island country of Bahrain, Dr. Sultan comes from a close-knit, working-class family where cultural traditions and values were central to his upbringing. He carries this deep sense of connection and respect for others into his practice every day.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sultan enjoys reading long novels, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends—whether exploring new destinations or simply sharing a meal at home.
